π‘ About The Empowerment Project
We know life can be difficult and overwhelming β thatβs why each month we host The Empowerment Project, a support group for parents and carers of autistic children or children undergoing an autism assessment.
π€ Led by dedicated volunteers, all of whom are parents and carers themselves with lived experience, we offer a warm, welcoming space to share, connect, and find support.
π Some months feature guest speakers, such as professionals from education, health, or the voluntary sector, who share valuable insights, practical strategies, and up-to-date information to help support you and your family.
π¬ No need to book β just come along!
β Tea, coffee, and refreshments provided
π Friendly faces guaranteed
π A safe space for support and empowerment
